LATEST OPERA MINI SETTINGS ON ZAIN

Here, i will be explaining how to configure a zain line to browse free of charge with opera mini. Without wasting much time, lets get started.

• Get a zain line and click here to activate it.
  
• I will focus on NOKIA phones since they are everywhere. After activation, they will send the settings for your; when asked for pin code, enter "0" or "0000" to save it then activate it as default configuration.
  
• For those of you that the G or E sign is already showing, configure your phone manually by using the settings below:
  

1. GO TO SETTINGS -- CONFIGURATION -- PERSONAL CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
   
2. CLICK ADD NEW -- · ACCOUNT NAME: Zain - HOME PAGE: wap.ng.zain.com
   
3. USERNAME AND : wap -- · USE PREFFERED ACCESS POINT SETTINGS: no
   
4. GO TO ACCESS POINT SETTINGS -- PROXY: ENABLED
   
5. PROXY ADDRESS: 172.18.254.5 -- PROXY PORT: 8080
   
6. DATA BEARER: packet data --
   
7. BEARER SETTINGS -- PACKET DATA ACCESS POINT: wap.ng.zain.com
   
8. NETWORK TYPE: IPV4 -- AUTHENTICATION TYPE: Normal
   
9. USERNAME AND PASSWORD: wap
   

After that, do the following again.

1. GO TO SETTINGS -- CONFIGURATION -- PERSONAL CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
   
2. CLICK ADD NEW (Access Point) -- · ACCOUNT NAME: ZAIN GPRS
   
3. GO TO ACCESS POINT SETTINGS
   
4. DATA BEARER: packet data
   
5. BEARER SETTINGS -- PACKET DATA ACCESS POINT: internet.ng.zain.com
   
6. NETWORK TYPE: IPV4 -- AUTHENTIFICATION TYPE: Normal
   
7. USER NAME AND PASSWORD: internet
   

Now that your phone and line is configured, activate the newly added configuration as default.
N/B: Make sure you perform all the configurations in the site above ie wap, mms, and internet.
